The Leaping Hare way of working
At Leaping Hare we know about websites, hosting, design, as well as sales and marketing. We have loads of experience in business - big and small. And coming from an art and crafts background, with a love of music and theatre, we have an affinity with small arts-based businesses.
What we don't know is all about your business and how you like to work! We believe that the best way to get results for you, and create a website that works for you, is to start by understanding your business. If we are enthusiastic about your work and have a good grasp of what you are trying to do it makes it easy for us to successfully deliver your message. So we start by asking lots of questions and listening a lot.
Think of us as part of your team
We are convinced that one thing you will find about us is that we honestly want your business to succeed. We tend to only do business with people we like and believe in, so you may be surprised how enthusiastically we approach helping you to market your work or services.
Sure we have to pay the bills, but it is important that you feel you
can consult us on anything. Our customers quite often get more than they
bargain for - in a good way of course. Within reason, if we can help
out with a little extra help or advice we are happy. We may not always
have the answer, but a kind word and a happy face costs nothing.
A collaborative approach
Whilst many clients just want to leave it all to us, we understand that creative people may want to to play a major role in the look of their site. We are perfectly happy to work with you if you have a vision and just need help to make it happen. And of course we are delighted to throw ourselves into a creative huddle with you till we tease out the ideas that will work for your business.
We won't be possessive about our ideas but we might be obsessive about quality and making things work properly!
Decent dealings
As stated on the Our Values page we aim to work with you in a fair, honest and ethical way and we like to work for people who share our values.
We like to make websites that offer a decent experience for visitors. Thus we actively discourage the use of pop-ups, pop-unders, spamming, phishing or any other underhand means of trying to trick the reader or gather data without their knowledge and permission. So please don't ask us, we won't do it. But there again, if you were the sort of people that wanted to dupe others then you probably have not read this far on our site!
However, if you are a craftsperson, painter, printmaker, sculptor, musician,
actor, performer, puppeteer, designer, potter, poet, author or in any
other way involved with the arts you will find us especially enthusiastic.
Or if your business has an ecological, organic, spiritual, sustainable
or alternative slant we will be excited to work with you. Of course it's
OK to be a regular, normal business professional offering quality products
and services; we will still be delighted to work for you.
